Description: Trekking (walking) trip in Zavkhan province
ITINERARY & PRICE
Day 1: Arrival to Ulaanbaatar city, Transfer to hotel. After some personal refreshment, start your guided city tour. Visit to Zaisan Memorial to see view of the entire city. Our staff will guide through some major spots such as Sukhbaatar square and Opera House. Visit the Museum of Natural History and other museums if time allows. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Transfer to the airport to fly to Tosontsengel soum, Zavkhan Province. Depending on the flight schedule, we might be able to visit to The Bogd Khan Palace Museum and Zanabazar Museum of fine arts in Ulaanbaatar. After lunch and some preparation we will start trekking from Tosontsengel soum. Today we stop early and prepare for dinner Mongolian traditional food "Khorkhog". Tent camping.
Day 3-5: Full day trekking through amazing landscape with some digression to blueberry harvesting in nearby forests. Our final destination is Mount Teel we will meet with the support with car(s).
Day 7-8: Drive to Tsetsuuh natural spring in Ih-Uul soum and enjoy full day at the natural spring. Soak in the hot spring and ride horses and visit visit a nomadic family to learn their way of life. Try processing some dairies.
Day 9: Drive to Tosontsengel to catch a flight to Ulaanbaatar
Day 10: Tour Ulaanbaatar City for a full day. Visit Gandan Monastery, and the Museum of National History. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: Take advantage of free time before your departure. Visit some cashmere, clothing, souvenir and antique shops. Transfer to the airport
